Takasaka University Farm
The University Farm is associated with the Section of Ecological Farming. At the University Farm, practical study, education and research are pursued along with various activities of agricultural production in the field. Various types of fieldwork are arranged for students to learn about basic agricultural activities. The work includes experience of handling crops and domestic animals in the field.

Kaminagawa University Forest
The University Forest is associated with the Section of Watershed Conservation. The steep geographical features of the Asahi Mountains, as well as extraordinary heavy snowfall in winter and plenty of rain in summer, afford forestry activities. Now the University Forest is also used as an outdoor education and research center on forest resources and environmental issues. For example, one of the permanent plots for research of acid rain and snow is situated in this University Forest.
