Symposium on Forestry, Agriculture and Food Science: Europe and Asia

This symposium is held with the aim of presenting recent advances, priorities and focus of interest on environmental sciences in Europe and Asia. In this symposium a wide range of presentations concerning the response, resilience and adaptation of natural ecosystems to anthropogenic and natural factors will be discussed. It provides an excellent opportunity for graduate students at the United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences (UGAS) and Yamagata University (YU) to present and discuss the results of their studies. We expect that this gathering will become a platform for future research collaborations among the participants, the strengthening of academic networks and the creation of new joint educational models.

The first two days of the Symposium will be held in the Faculty of Agriculture (Tsuruoka City) and the third day will be held at the Faculty of Science (Yamagata City) of Yamagata University.

Date: March 3-7, 2024.

Presentations:

The time for presentations will be adjusted according to the number of Professors and Graduate students (15 min for Graduate students and 25 for Professors is expected, including presentation and Q&A time).
